Bing is a search engine that was created by Microsoft and was launched on June, 1 2009. Bing is a spider, so it looks for web pages to add to its database. Bing does have a directory, but you can turn it off. Also, when you type in your search, your history of your previous searches on Bing will come up and you can also turn that off or manage it.
